Following several questions about Money for Android and Money QI, please read this post.

Many iBearMoney users recognize that QI, which is a desktop client for Money, is yet not available for download. Answering a popular question: yes, we want to release QI to help users of Money to add their transactions in a simpler manner via their desktop computers.

QI is still not released because we have found inaccuracies in the way how it works with iPhone databases. We cannot release it at the moment because it needs further development. iBearMoney is our main product, and QI was designed as a free supplement, which we want to be reliable, and that requires more time than I anticipated when I announced initial dates of its release. Since I do not know how much time it can take to make QI work as it is desired, I am not giving any new dates of its release. Please read this blog, follow us on twitter, or “like” the facebook page to stay in touch and instantly learn about updates.

There is a way how you can help us to release QI sooner: recommend iBearMoney to your friends and leave a positive review on the AppStore. This way you will help us to attract more customers, and we will have more feedback from the community of users. If you are a long term user of iBearMoney, please note that your positive reviews help a lot to develop the product, while negative reviews work in the opposite way. Your help is always welcome and very much desired. If you need help or have requests, please use forums instead of iTunes.

Please note several important things: QI is not a full-featured financial software. For the full-featured software, we are working on other products: Money for iPhone, Money for iPad, Money for Windows Mobile and Money for Android. Money for iPad was released last month, Money for Windows Mobile was also released last month. The latest update of Money for iPhone was on June 02 (4 days ago).

Money for Android is yet under development. As soon as we release it, I will make a blog post about it. Android app store known as Android Market works in a different way from the iPhone App Store, and I will announce the release of Money for Android so that everyone interested will be able to notice it.
