Top 1 iPad overall (USA) financial app developer offers: Checkbook for all your accounts with a list of transactions. Luxurious design (check the screenshots). Easy sync and iPad/iPhone versions combined in one app! Checkbook HD for Mac is available!
“In a nutshell, I can’t really find what’s missing from it. Flaws from other apps seem to be addressed here, which is great.”
You want an application, which you can use as a checkbook for all your accounts, and always stay aware of how much money is left on each of your accounts, and how it happened. You can import your banking records using your bank’s OFX file or manually add entries that change balance on your accounts. You can automatically and quickly transfer your data from the bank to the app using Direct Connect. You can schedule recurring transactions, sync your data between several iPads/iPhones, add both income and expenses, schedule delayed transaction and clear them later (feature known as reconcile), and see colorful charts, which represent activity of your accounts.

Stylish luxurious design, which reminds of a personal library room, which is one of the best environments to work with your papers and accounts. Add your accounts to the shelves on the left; add your transactions and see your charts from the chalkboard on the right. Navigate between recurring and regular transactions, and between pie charts and bar charts, using sticky notes attached to the chalkboard. Use the shelf under the board to work with extra features. The interface is easy to work with and helps you to concentrate on the idea of managing your accounts.

Second sticky note (blue) is meant for recurring transactions. And the other two are meant for pie charts and bar charts. Extra features: export to HTML and CSV (Excel), sync with other iPads, import your OFX files, and set up a PIN code to protect your entries!
