I continue to have big problems with my account balances. So I downloaded QI to see if I could sort out what's going on and I think I have found a problem.
The balance of all transactions in the bank account is correct, but it does not equal to the amount displayed on the account itself. How can an account show a balance different from the total of all transactions? I have manually confirmed in excel that the balance column in the account detail window is correct. So there is some problem occurring somewhere that has the balance on the Account listed incorrectly. My settings are configured to show all Deleted Records, so I believe I am seeing everything that happens on this account. I have also confirmed that all Transfer entries have the same exact amount in the "From" and "To" fields.
Do you have any idea why that would happen and how I can correct it? I am having the same problem with other Bank accounts and credit card accounts.
