my budget reports are showing year reports from January 1, 2011 - December 31, 2011 even after I applied the custom year to September 1,2011- August 31, 2012 which is my calendar year for my organization. How do I create a one-time budget item per year in a custom calendar year? Right now, if I pick " 1 x year" then my budget item gets posted as a fraction of the year from September 1,2011 - December 31, 2011. There should be a drop menu that gives me the option to set the budget item as " day, month, year, CUSTOM" so that I can use budget items from my custom calendar year. We use a "school year" not a " tax year".

I'm sorry there is no such an option, we will add it in future updates.

TY ... That would really be useful. Until then, the budget feature is pretty much useless to me. And all the reports associated with the budget are useless too. But I really like the rest of the app. Have it on my android phone too and am buying the Mac version when it is ready. I am your loyal customer and waiting patiently!
