Hi Elena
I am fine with posting my suggestion here.
I've tried all the option to change the lit-gal units (global and app related). Unfortunately no cure so far.
But like I said, it's only an optical flaw. The calculations are correct.5 Suggestions:
I would highly appreciate if I could set a "custom date" over several years for reports. This way the live time of a car can be shown e.g. from 01 JAN 2005 - 22 FEB 2012 or what ever period I am interested in.It would be helpful if I could print the statistics for each individual car.
A backup or synchronisation functionality would be great.
(This wish could overrule my last suggestion, if the synced version could be printed)It would be easier to manipulate the selector-wheels if the digits (under the blue ribbon) appear bigger or in bold font.
A seventh knob on the steering wheel would be nice that shows when selected:
- the current fuel economy (since last fill up) with digits e.g. 7.6ltr/100km. Shown as "Current: 7.6 Ltr"
- total average fuel economy over a selected period (livetime of car as default) 8.3 ltr / 100km. Shown as "Average: 8.3 Ltr"
in the report and statistic window.Thank you very much indeed for your interest in my suggestions. It would be great if they could find their way into "CarExpenses".

Dear Elena
I have to revise two of my former requests.
My first suggestion turns out to be as I requested. But, there is a bug.
- Hold the iPad in landscape mode.
- Tip on the dates in the report window. The period selector appears.
- Select the last of the four options "custom" from the pop up window. You'll see only the day/month drums. The "year-drum" is hidden out of sight on the right side of the report-screen.
Deselect all windows.
- Turn the iPad to portrait mode and then tip on the date again to recall the date selector options.
- Select custom again. Again the year drum is missing. With both windows visible turn now the iPad into landscape mode.
Both the selector window with "custom" and the full "day/month/year" drums are now visible but are off-set.My third request was incomplete. There is actually a backup functionality on the steering wheel. But the data can only be transferred to another i-device.
I was more thinking of a backup capability onto a PC (and then the reports can be printed from there).Hope my explanations are somewhat understandable.
With kindest regards,
