Suddenly my balance went all out of whack when I opened checkbook. I had to redo it all over again. Then I went to iPad and tried to open it to synch and it won't accept my password. How the heck do I get or reset my password on the iPad when I can't even log on??? Frustrating

Ok I finally synched my iPad and iPhone and all of November transactions have been deleted. Now what do I do to get them back?

Could you tell me what actions you took before the error? You can get the data back using iTunes backup.

Hi,
I purchased Checkbook a few months back. Everything was fine until 2 weeks back I noticed the following errors;
1. The grand total for all accounts not correct - it went haywire
2. The amounts in RM changed to $Because of these two errors or problems I have to punch all the data again from July. I dare not do it again until you give assure me that it will not happen again.
I also recently purchased Bills. How do I put a reminder? The earlier one was very good.
Now I see you have MONEY. How stable is the software and since I already bought 2 of your products, this MONEY incorporates both the softwares, can I get a special discount? I would prefer one software that does everything!

As for Bills, the reminders are created for the each planned transaction, that has standard periodicity (day, month, year). You can turn them on/off, set a time period what is the day before the date they should come (in the device settings). There are no reminders for Mac version.

I downloaded Checkbook HD for my iPad 2 and for my wife's iPhone 4. The main appeal to me was the ability to sync between devices. I set up my account on my iPad 2 and tried to sync but it just searches continuously, even though her iPhone is on and the program is open. Bluetooth and Wifi are enabled on both devices. App Store says the app is up-to-date.
This was the main reason I purchased this app but it isn't functioning. Is there a way I can fix this?

There is sync via bluetooth. Also try to reboot the apps, it should help. We will significantly improve the sync in the next update.

I have had Checkbook HD on my iPad since the end of September and recently purchased an iPhone 4S. I tried to sync my iPad and my iPhone 4S. My iPad can find my iPhone. However, I left it alone for almost an hour and it just says that it's waiting on iPhone. How long is it supposed to take to sync? I only have a few months worth of data and almost an hour seemed like a long time to not have anything transferred to my iPhone.

Try to reboot the devices, it may help. If not, that is a known issue and the sync will be significantly improved in the nearest Checkbook update.
