   Hi team,

   sorry if you already answered to this question, but I wasn't able to find the topic.
   I'm surprised that the entry debt is shown in my budget with the value of the transaction "Discharge of liabilities"
   I was expecting not to find it, because everything I paid with my credit card is already shown.
   This way the credit card expenses are shown twice: once when I payed them with my card and once when I submitted the Discharge of liabilities transaction.

   Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

   I submitted the transaction as:
   Discharge of liabilities
   Debt: Credit card
   My Bank account
   Credit card
   Principal = amount charged to my account

   Card debit decreases correctly, but I don't want this to be shown as additional cost in my budget

   Should I do a money transfer to discharge the debt of my credit card?
   Money transfer from my account to the credit card may work as well, I think

   If you choose the category for discharging liability it'll display in the Budget and reports. In this case using credit cards transactions can duplicate. We reccomend you not to choose a category.

   Also you can use Money transfer.
