I agree $ 20 for this app is way too much considering what Money and Quicken cost at their upstart. I haven't posted feedback yet out of respect to see if this administrator has answers on the major problems with this app and/or gives me money back.Replying to @BentleyBoo's post:

Searching for transactions
I have both the iPhone & iPad versions of iBearMoney and are surprised that there are so many functions missing or hidden in the iPad version.
How do you search quickly for transaction as the only way that I have been able to find is manually through the transaction calendar or filtering via the reports tab?
Icon Manager - after a bit of searching I found how to edit icons after going to add a transaction you can get to the categories, add or edit a category then select the icon to bring up theicon manager select the '+' symbol to open the icon manager in edit mode which enables the add button down the bottom. This is not very obvious the tools Tab could do with some expansion.

I'd really like to see a step my step guide on how to use it. It looks like it covers everything but HOW do you use it! Your help guide wasn't much help so getting some BASIC INSTRUCTIONS wouldn't go astray.

Search is temporarily not available in Money for iPad (version 1.0.2), but we are working on adding it there. Regarding the Icon Manager - thank you for the proposal, we will think about that.

To give you a quick idea of how it works: first you need to go to Balance tab and add all your accounts there (where you keep money). Then you go to Transactions tab, and once you buy or sell anything, or get paid, or anything happens with the money on your accounts, you record it as a Transaction. That's it, fairly simple. Once you are familiar with this process, you can check the Budget tab and plan what you want to do.
We will add more materials at some point. In the meantime please ask me any questions, and I'll be ready to help.
