Been trying to separate my savings accounts from my payment (checking) account and so I set up my savings under the tab other assets. But when every time i enter in a deposit, it subtracts from my total rather than add on even though I enter it in under income. I have to to enter it in as a negative number in order to get it to come up correctly, or i have to enter it as an expense. Am i using the wrong tab for my savings account? It seems the only accounts that will accept income correctly are accounts under the payment accounts tab which I don't want it their because it's not a payment account.

We still need to clarify some of the details, could you send us the screenshots, please by email [email protected] ? Also if you could describe the issue (what numbers you enter), it will help us. Thank you in advance.

I am also having the same problem. I don't want my budget to pull from my Savings so I am trying to put it under the Other Assets and when I put entries under income they subtract. Please pass along a fix if there is one. Thank you.

Other assets is different property and etc. You can't pay in other assets. What do you mean when you say "enter a deposit"? Please, clarify your request.
