Hello again. I just talked to the specialist.. and he said that he cannot give me such information because he cannot be sure that your converter will work correctly with the data. There have been several issues when people used self created converters, and then they had significant problems with their iPhone databases. In order to prevent such situations we have to deny such positive initiatives, which you have taken.
Said that, I really appreciate your willingness to create the application, but there is nothing we can do to help it.

You know what happens with iPhone is that apps are so cheap that you can afford to buy one without giving it much of a though. You can try it and if you don't like it you can put it aside. You can also hope that over time the app may get better and even worthwhile the money you gave for it.
I found iBearMoney to be an interesting application and considered replacing PocketMoney which I'm currently using with it. The issue is that for such an application as iBearMoney, importing histoircal data is very important (at least to me). Keeping track of your financial data makes no sense unless you can manipulate them in any way that is useful to you to figure out things.
Finding this thread I hoped I found a solution to this issue. Unfortunately reading through it and based on the hue of your replies I see no real commitment to provide such a feature. I mean it's now 4 months that you are dealing with an issue flagged with high priority! ?? How long will it take to finally make it? I fear that when you eventually offer some solution it may not even be what people really expected.
Oh well anyway. This is how products loose customers really. I mean I did buy the app since it's not that expensive but I don't use it since I can't import data into it. I'm certainly not going to type in thousends of historical records so it'll stay on my iPhone for maybe a few more weeks. Then poof! out it goes...
I certainly cannot reccomened it to anyone else as well since I can't use it myself.
