   Hi. Just bought this app from itunes. I would like to know if there a function in the app to have a payment reminder?

   Eg. All recurring bills like credit card, utilities, insurance.. etc.

   Please open "Transactions" tab and rotate the device. You will see a calendar with transactions on it. Tap on the day to find the list of transactions.

   

   Another thing. Probably you have only registered transactions on the calendar. You can also add some Planned transactions which will occur in the future. To do so please come back to the portrait view of the "Transactions" tab
   and slide to "Planned" transactions.

   

   Add new planned transactions you want track.

   

   You can always register planned transactions:
   

   BTW Uploaded this post to our online documentation. This is all regarding 4.0.2 version of iBearMoney. There will be some cool updates of the calendar feature in later versions.

   I also want to ask. If we have a recurring (Monthly) Payment, can we set iBearMoney to warn us
   about this payment prior to this due date?

   Hi. The solution that you put in is just for a one time future payment and it's not recurring.

   How do we do a plan recurring payment on something that is attached to an account eg Credit card.
   Eg we make payment in full every month on our credit card bill.

   One more thing. Does a planned payment automatically become an actually transaction when the time
   is due or do we need to intervene, eg change payment amount when the time is due? ( I think intervention is better, it would be good to have a "Planned Payment Due" Section where we can go through one by one to change the planned payment status to actual transaction, but we can also change
   the plan payment to an actually transaction before it due of course.

   Regarding recurring payments for credit cards: I think it's just the same as other payments. When you create a new transaction, you can choose a credit card from your Account field. Then if you go to Period, you can set the period for Monthly, and it will happen once a month.

   A planned transaction does not automatically become an actual transaction. There is another kind of transactions that does, which is the "Automatic" one. When you create any transaction, tap the field "Transaction origin", and it will bring you to 4 options: Manual, Planned, Automatic, Template. So Planned stands for something that appears in the "Planned Transaction" section, but does not automatically become actual, and consequently Automatic does become actual 'automatically'.

   Maybe with the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 you can manage to set reminder alerts for planned transactions.
