Uncaught exception in main method: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The given item is not part of this model.Same error occurred as others posted.
Java version is as follows
java version "1.6.0_20"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_20-b02-279-10M3065)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 16.3-b01-279, mixed mode)Please find a way to fix it quickly. it is inconvenient not to have the desktop connection.

1. Add New Profile
2. Login with this New Profile (without adding any transaction data etc.)
3. Connect to QIBecause I can use QI with other profiles (e.g. DemoData, my main profile etc) in the same environment, the cause of this error is not environmental but database of profile.

I have paid version 4.0.8 on Iphone 3GS and QI on Windows and Windows XP. On both installed Windows versions, QI is unusable : Sync seems to work (I see the accounts list on the left frame) but the right frame stay white all the time.
Sorry if I miss something but I'm not able to do something : nothing happened on right clicks on accounts, I only able to select accounts by double clicking on them...

I got this error before, and the error was caused by unique(minus) data in that profile.
Would you confirm if your profile has the minus amount data ?In addition, in my case, this issue happened in only MacBook.
The same profile worked fine in the Windows QI.Posted 1 year ago #
