Hi,
I have recently punched money. And I love it and my wife finds it really easy and great to use how ever it lacks one thing as far as I can see that would skyrocket it to greatness and I don't se why such a obvious feature has been missed.
My wife and I have a budget of $100 a week for entertainment.
This includes, coffee, movies, eating out, rentals, events etc.
Now it is obvious that I want to budget $100 a week that's a no brained I could use a pen for that sum don't need a fancy awesome app for that. However the awesomeness would be if the app let me set a entainment budget of $100 and then since I am cartagorising my transactions in to entertainment:coffee these would show up as sub categories with in my budget only to show me where my money is being spent whilst letting me know how the total budget for entertainment is going.
As it is I have a entertainment category with sub catagories but I can't set a budget for entertainment only for it's sub categories which is completely pointless as my budget is for entertainment the subcategories are useless unless I can have a parent budget. Why would I want to make individual sub budgets. if I wanted to do that I would just use categories.
I am sure you see what I am getting at. It possible to allow me to do this as I feel this is the only place where the App fails to preform and fail it does as this is the obvious and most logical approach to budgeting.
Like I sai App of awesomeness but it ca really soar if you get detail like this right.
