I think my issue is similar. Luckily, I was able to somehow get iCloud to sync back so now I used a back up file to sync with my iPad 2.
No matter what I did, iPad 2 cannot detect the existing profile that I had on iCloud. Only my iPhone was able to do so. This is very inconvenient.
There is no way for the user to search and select manually the existing profiles that are already on the cloud upon restore.
I tried adding transactions from my iPhone and have it sync to the cloud but over 4-5 days have passed and none of the transactions are showing up on my iPad. The sync mechanism between different iDevices is broken. Sometimes I wonder how often the app actually syncs my data onto the cloud considering how slow things update.
I managed to get my data back not because Money app backed up my data properly but because iCloud did a capture of the entire phone and that back up data was inside.
Please improve iCloud syncorization or this program will not be usable. I will be creating periodic manual back ups for the time being. I am looking forward to 6.03.
