We try to answer all the questions within 24 hours (weekends may take longer). Besides, we encourage users to help each other. Your question has been followed up by Rika who is not our staff member.

Are you a staff member? If so, why did you spend time and energy explaining support procedure to me instead of helping to resolve the issue I am experiencing? Just wondering.
Rika did ask specific questions which I both appreciate and responded to.

Look, one more thing: The problem I am having is not going to go away by end-user intervention, mine or anyone elses. This is a code issue and, most likely, a loop in the backup sequence corrupted a segment of the executable responsible for performing the data backup. So, what is required to fix this? First, have development look over the lines of code inside the backup array and debug this issue. Secondly, develop a fix. Finally, push down the corrected code to each user because, sooner or later, it's going to happen to others as well. Thank you.

I am a staff member. Answering your question why I spent time and energy answering this thread: it seemed to me that you are overreacting to the situation, so I decided to explain that no answers happen immediately - so that you could feel that I am not simply ignoring this thread. This is again what I am doing now.
I posted my answer to the thread where Rika answered.
Regarding your assumption why the problem has occurred: thanks for that, I will copy and send it to the developers. If this requires a fix, there will be an update with the fix.
