Money is a comprehensive personal finance management application. It is easy to use and combines beautiful interface with powerful features.
1. Widgets
Starting screen is designed as a set of widgets. The widgets present main financial information in a balanced view: quantity and sum of planned and expired transactions, assets and liabilities balance, budget progress. Besides in a transaction widget you may quickly fill in expense transaction or add an ordinary transaction. You may go to any necessary feature by tapping a necessary widget once.
2. Bill Minder
The transaction form is designed as a calendar with a transaction list under it. Expired, planned, actual transactions are marked in the color red, blue, green correspondingly on the calendar. You may set a period and type of the displayed transaction in the filter above the calendar. You may collapse calendar by tapping a yellow button under it and show a full transaction list divided by type.
3. Balance
There is assets and liabilities information in the balance form. Here you may add accounts of the following types:
- payment accounts;
- assets;
- credit cards;
- liabilities.
You may view transactions on a necessary account and its running balance.
4. Budget
Budget form is meant for effective income and outcome budgeting. Two-level category structure helps to budget easily. Tables and progress bar help to know the dynamic of a running budget, a history on certain budget line helps to analyze and choose a necessary strategy.
5. Reports
There is a lot of analytical information on your finances in a reports form. You may use the following reports types:
- assets and liabilities reports;
- planned/actual reports on income and outcome;
- cash flow.
Also you may use filter to set a more exact data sorting.
6. Other things
6.1. Profiles
The application allows use of several profiles, easy switch between them, set PIN-protection for each of them.
6.2. Backup
You may create unlimited amount of backups for each profile.
6.3. Export
The application has an option of data export by email in QIF/CSV/HTML formats.
7. First steps
7.1. Fill in your assets and liabilities.
On the balance form you should choose a necessary section (assets or liabilities), tap the add button, and set the necessary type of the created account. Fill in all the fields and tap the save button after it. Enter all your accounts (cash, credit cards, checks, property, debts) this way.
7.2. Create budget.
Go to the budget form, choose the necessary budget type (income or outcome) and tap the add button. After this choose a necessary category and create a budget for it: fill in a planned sum and budget period. Budget all areas of your life this way and control them.
7.3. Create planned transactions
You may add transactions by tapping “+” above the calendar. Transaction may be actual or planned. Actual transactions are shown immediately and change balance of a chosen account. Planned transactions are reminders and they should be added manually. If a planned transaction is automation (if you check in this option), then it is added automatically on a set date. You may also set periodically of transactions – that is a period of time when it repeats.
7.4. Enter your transactions regularly
Besides main fields (category, data, sum, account), it has a special transaction type field.
- expense transaction –an ordinary transaction, the set sum is subtracted from account;
- income transaction – a set sum is added to the account;
- transfer – moving the sum from one account to another;
- asset purchase – the sum is subtracted from account and added to the chosen asset;
- asset sale – the sum is subtracted from asset and added to the account;
- liability acquisition – the sum is added to the liability and to the account;
- discharge of liability – principal sum and extra payment are subtracted from liability, while a total principal sum, interest and extra payment are subtracted from account.
Tap the save button to save transaction, after all the fields are filled in.
7.5. Analyze your financial state
Use all types of reports and filter to build graphs and analyze your financial flows.
