We at iBear, LLC (“iBear” or “we”) have developed our products and services based on privacy by design since our company began.
When you use our Apps, you may, in the process, give us date directly, from third parties, or through the Apps themselves (including through your interaction with the Apps).
These data are, for example:
If you contact our customer support, then we may also receive information from you as part of that contact. Oftentimes this is your email address, name, and information about your device.
General Information consists of information that is anonymous in nature and does not identify you as an individual. When you utilize one of the Apps, our server automatically records certain information, which is sent by your computer or mobile device and stored in log files. This includes your computer IP address, unique mobile device identifier, browser type, ISP or carrier name, and similar data. We use this information for statistical and other internal business purposes.
We do not collect location data. We will contact you and, as required by law, obtain your consent before we collect location data.
To manage and develop our Apps, we need information from you, which includes personal information. The purpose of processing this personal data includes:
Analytics. Analytics are important to help us manage, protect and provide the Apps by obtaining information about how our users interact with our application. For example, we will receive the length of time spent in a session within the Apps, aggregate, non-specific geographic data, and crash data. Some Apps have the ability to send bug reports to iBear, which include the user’s email address and an optional description of the problem, along with some auto-generated technical information. These reports are strictly voluntary and are only sent when the user after reviewing them expressly grants permission. If you choose to send us this data, then iBear will use this information to ensure that the Apps continue to appeal to our users, as well as for auditing, research, and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve the app; ensuring the technical functioning of the app, as well as developing new apps.
iBear may combine your usage information with that of others in a way that does not identify you or any individual person and to use such anonymized and aggregate data for conducting analytical research, performance tracking and benchmarking.
Family Cloud Sync. Family Cloud Sync feature allows to share data among other users. The profile data shared with Family Cloud Sync is encrypted and stored in the public iCloud database of Money Pro® app. iBear does not have encryption keys for that data and does not process it. Certain data may be stored unencrypted for the purpose of sending push notifications. Such data is anonymized and includes date, time, amount and type of the transaction along with a unique anonymized user identifier.
You can share access to your profile data with other users by sharing invitation codes. The invitation codes open access to your data to the users who receive your codes. Please use secure means for sharing your invitation codes. Additionally, you can accept invitations to other users’ profiles. The data you add to the shared profile is accessible to every user to whom the profile’s owner shares it with, so please use responsibly.
Money Pro Sync. Money Pro Sync enables users to share data between devices on and across multiple platforms, and among other users. You can create a Money Pro account by providing a display name, email, a profile photo, and other information (as described above). iBear stores this information with your account so that you can access it from any of your devices. Your display name and profile photo can appear alongside any data you share with other users. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an optional feature that adds an extra layer of protection on top of your password. MFA is optional.
When you turn on Money Pro Sync on your device, Money Pro will copy your local app data to your Money Pro account. Money Pro will keep the data on your device and Money Pro account in sync. It will allow to have the app data in sync between several devices that use the same Money Pro account. Information stored in Money Pro account is encrypted at rest and is transmitted over an encrypted SSL connection.
You can share access to your profile data with other users by sharing invitation codes. The invitation codes open access to your data to the users who receive your codes. Please use secure means for sharing your invitation codes. Additionally, you can accept invitations to other users’ profiles. The data you add to the shared profile is accessible to every user to whom the profile’s owner shares it with.
Online Banking. Certain Apps, such as Money Pro, offer enhanced online banking services via subscription. Online Banking allows to download financial account data from financial institutions. Online Banking is designed to protect your information and enable you to choose what to share.
Apps will automatically register you with iBear’s service provider that is compatible with your financial institution, and will share your financial institution username and password, which will be transmitted over an encrypted SSL connection. Once your identity has been verified by your bank, the App downloads your account data over the same encrypted connection. Your username and password do not pass through iBear servers at any point in time.

You can use Online Banking on several devices at the same time. For it to function properly, Money Pro uses iCloud Keychain to sync your credentials between your devices.
